Minister of Transport and Civil Aviation Mohamed Ameen reported gradual improvements in Middle East airspace conditions, with flight operations slowly resuming through limited corridors. Over the past two days, several repatriation flights have arrived at Velana International Airport, including some services operated by Emirates, while flydubai is expected to resume a limited number of scheduled flights from tomorrow. Officials stated that close coordination is ongoing with airlines to minimise disruptions, while efforts are also underway to increase flight frequencies and attract additional operators from unaffected regions to maintain connectivity to the Maldives and reduce the impact on tourism.
