President Dr Mohamed Muizzu has issued official decrees amending the administrative jurisdictions of Addu City, Addu Hulhudhoo, and Addu Meedhoo.

President Dr Mohamed Muizzu has stated that as the goals of Maldives 2.0 are achieved and the conveniences of a digital Maldives are realised, opportunities for Maldivian citizens to access services and create income-generating avenues whilst remaining in their respective islands will increasingly expand.

In line with the Directive issued by the President's Office on 4 February 2024, Government offices will be closed for the final ten days of Ramadan, beginning Monday, 9 March.
