Effective today, 29 April 2026, Maldivians holding ordinary passports and intending to travel to Azerbaijan will be exempted from visa requirements for maximum period of ninety (90) days from the day of their entry. This follows the previous mutual Visa Exemption Agreement for holders of diplomatic and official passports in place between the Maldives and Azerbaijan since 18 June 2025.
