Key milestones have been achieved in Segment 5 of the ongoing road development works under the Malé North Side Boduthakurufaanu Magu Road Project Phase 1 in Malé, with water and wastewater main pipe installation works and settlement tank installation successfully completed. Current works include sewer upgrades, quaywall-side curbstone installation, cable junctions, and stormwater catchpits, all on track for completion within the week. Next week, sub-base preparation, ABC laying, and asphalt works are scheduled to commence. Meanwhile, sheet piling across Segments 2, 3, and 4 continues to progress, with 243 meters (47%) completed to date, reflecting steady advancement in the infrastructure upgrade programme in the Maldives.
