President Dr Mohamed Muizzu has assigned Minister of Higher Education, Labour and Skills Development, Dr Maryam Mariya, to temporarily oversee the functioning of the Ministry of Agriculture and Animal Welfare. The decision was made following the resignation of Dr Aishath Rameela, due to health concerns.
